BASH TRU is OZ and SEB—two lifelong friends whose music started in bedrooms and garages in Johannesburg. The music is sharp, raw and honest.

Their sound started with teenage jams inspired by the Red Hot Chili Peppers and evolved into something distinctly their own—part punk energy, part alt-rock grit, always real, always TIGHT.

Then Oz left. For 4 years.

Bash Tru lay in uncertainty.

None of them thought so.

With Oz back home. Joburg city and forces bigger than them demand something.

This isn’t just another record.

It’s a statement about youth, desire, frustration, and hope.

It's the album they had to make, because nothing else felt right. It was their Responsibility. It’s direct, emotionally charged, and exactly what the culture demands.
